"There is something of the marvelous in all things of nature."
Clouds provide shelters from searing sun
Its bursts give us rainbows
Turbulent seas hail soaring waves
Sand-filled shores bestow building nests
Oh, so many illustrations we see on earth's surface
Our deepest roots are in nature
These enmeshed, intertwined roots are
sustenance givers..
For they are from where we grow... gain strength
to fight against the forces that ails man
Every part of Nature inspires to make things possible...
It gives richer, higher, magical visions
The precept is to have good connections
with this world and people
-a heart fluttering a little offers a spot of warmth
creates perfect harmony
"There is something of the marvelous in all things of nature."- Aristotle. – The opening line is inspired by a quote.

ReplyDeleteWow Panchali, this poem is superb. Nature is always an insiring factor. Loved the last two lines. Nothing can match them.
ReplyDeleteTruly said, Panchali. Nature gives us the strength to fight against all the odds and evil forces. Beautifully written!
ReplyDeletePanchali - harmony what a wonderful, transcendent place to arrive at. I hope for a world that can touch the loamy soil, play in the waves and be rooted in nature.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully penned.
Interesting. One of the things I did this summer was take a philosophy class so I spent some time with Aristotle and his philosophies. I def agree on the connection with nature and that we can find many of our truthes supported by nature, and how nature interacts with itself as well. Everything is provided for, some is consumed for the greater good. It can be beautiful and violent, but it also balances out.
ReplyDelete"The precept is to have good connections / with this world and people"...Nature does teach in so many ways, this harmony...but do we care?...sigh...such a beautiful poem Panchali di....
ReplyDeleteThe ancient Greeks had all the answers:)
ReplyDeleteroots in nature and life in all we experience and see, beautifully captures the heart and our connection with creation.
ReplyDeleteConnections are very important, and all things are connected......
ReplyDeleteSo true that our deepest roots are in nature; and when we have unity with nature, this is perfect harmony!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wise words to live by.

ReplyDeleteWe are all part of the same world, even if we don't think so. Well written.
