Loneliness
is one of the strongest and most prevalent of emotions for a writer. I love
people, but I prefer my own private life also. For me loneliness is rich....
being alone, you don't have to negotiate with anything else, but just yourself.
So, while minding the mind, writing comes naturally... I write, whatever comes
to my mind, so my blog offers an aromatic portrait of my reflective mind...
I also
enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, socializing...
I have
done M.Phil in Existentialism from Delhi University. Have also done Masters
(alankar) in Hindustani Classical (vocal) music from Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya.
I was a disciple of Pandit. Vinay Chandra Maudgalya, a renowned classical
musician from the Gwalior gharana. I have given a few solo-recitals in TV and AIR
during my younger days...
Last, but
not least---I am a proud home-maker, a Mom, a Mom-in-law....also a mother of
canines, cockatiels and fish...
Panchali this sad poem impelled me to know more about you.It was nice to learn what you have chosen to share.
ReplyDeleteIndu, I never realized that you were posting comments here! Sorry about the delayed revert.
DeleteI am glad I met someone like you here, who is so caring and loving.. A big hug from me for being what you are!!:)))
The poem is not a personal account. With God's grace..am happy in life with a loving retired hubby and a caring daughter and a son-in-law. Touch Wood!
Actually,I was associated with ASHA & ACE-- Action for Community Empowerment till recently. Both the organisations work for the neglected women by providing relief, rehabilitation, social protection. While working with them, I saw some ghastly faces of human lives..!! How I wish I had the power to free all those women from the clutches of depressions!Whenever I sit to write, all those faces haunt me...and I get stupidly emotional...:)
Thanks so much Indu for being here. You are a true psychologist and a precious one at that...:)))hugzz
Now look at this-it is your style that i have always aspired for-that i could express myself as well as you do.You are really great!
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear :)) Writing and rewriting are a constant search to find what it is that the mind is saying...no wonder you are a psychologist. I can see you have some uncontrollable interest in the human mind. And this proves how good you are in your profession as well. Kudos..I am enjoying reading your series... they bring out the priceless messages!Keep them flowing...
DeleteAre you not in face book, Indu..? Have been looking for you...:D
I enjoyed reading this 'about me' page, Panchali. You are a person of diverse talents and experiences..... Ha, and, of course, I noticed that you TOO have dogs. Smiles. I will be following your blog, as I really DO enjoy your writing.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the delayed revert. I didn't see these comments..:((
DeleteThanks for your kind words, Mary. To win a kind of compliment from you has made my day... I wait too eagerly for you to come and read me, you know!I hope I come up to your expectations..always :))
Yes, at one point of time I had five dogs, now I'm left with one only. And he's wonderful...:)Thanks Mary, for the encouragement and the follow !l:D
Hindustani music also? Wow!!
ReplyDeleteNow lemme go find out what existentialism is. :) And you -- have a nice weekend, Panchali di.
