Soaring Dreams

Blown off to the sky
Li'l squares, flying side by side
Rainbow in motion

Flirting with rain-clouds
Dreams marinated in strings
Ride upon the wind

Treading in snail's pace
Ignoring the monsoon rain
Shuffling kites stir dreams

This Haiku is shared with Carpe Diem - Tako (kite).

  4. You warmed up and the second and third were complex, clever and beautiful, while thank goodness retaining the magical simplicity of haiku. Some unique ideas in the 2nd, and the 3rd a firm favourite!

  9. I love "Shuffling kites stir dreams." I really don't think a person can look at a kite flying without dreaming. At least i can't. Smiles.
