Late autumn,
-My city of joy
slowly merging into winter;
The blue
sparkling sky
provides me endless delight.
provides me endless delight.
I keep moving wrapped
in Sun's bronze.
And then... all of a sudden,
Life, love and beauty sprout and blaze!
The rose, is a joy to all-
even to my toddler granddaughter,
who enjoys stripping petal by petal,
The gentlest of fragrance gets wafted during the time.
We breathe, We inhale. Exhale.
Oh, it is our own favourite game!

Rose is alluring, breathtaking, beautiful.
Almost pure…blissfully divine!
Yes you're right! The rose is a joy to all! thanks for sharing. Good day to you!
ReplyDeleteSavour and Savior wrapped into one with the joy of new growth and a child's love game--very clever and moving, too.
ReplyDeleteI love picturing Roo plucking the petals, one by one........so sweet..............you paint such a beautiful scene! So uplifting.
ReplyDeletePanchali,
ReplyDeleteThe value in a rose is endless...full of character and so rewarding. Lovely to see you back:)
Let her strip them. She will leave a trail of that beauty for others to follow. And she will love you all the more for sharing their beauty with her.
ReplyDeleteThis was a rather comforting scene to end my night on.
Nice to see you writing again Panchali di. Stay blessed. Thanks for this divine rose delicately composed with the best of things from transition moments to sparkling delight to playful granddaughter's tender touch.
ReplyDeleteSuch bliss; a rose beautifully portrayed. Relish the joy with your granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteOne of the best things in life is to engage with our grandchildren and be a part of their lives. I still remember my own grandparents and the love they gave me and how good it was to be with them.
