Drizzling Darkness

It was like watching
‘Jackson Pollock’
Creating a ‘drip painting’...
Energizing every inch
of the forest-floor,
Without his usual
easel, palette and brushes...

The haze of the dusk
With a brush of it's own
Rode along; dabbled in water
Inky blue color gently
splattered...gently
glided into the pool,
pinning the edges...

Silvery moon light swooped down
Into the water perforating the trees
The moans of the breeze wandered;
 Spilled softly over the brook,
...shadows lengthened,
Stirred the anesthetic reclines
of the silhouettes.

A masterpiece
 of the ‘drip’ painting evolved...
Like a luminous pearl
The brook shimmered
Night still juvenile, dazzled
Under the pretty moonlight!

  5. Beautiful, Panchali. I am a Pollock fan, and it seems you are too. I was struck by the beauty of

    "Panoramic night swooped down
Into the water kissing the tree-tops"

Just lovely evocative writing which plays on the readers emotion as it sets the scene... There is SO much beauty under the moonlight.
