Journey Of My Mind

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 32; the thirty-second edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is 'An Untold Story'

Every night, as I try to sleep
The haze of the moon tracks down
The center of my mind,
And snaps something in me;
I hesitate a bit, put my thoughts together
Dim figures flit through my memory
 Heighten my sense of struggle
 The air ride on the shaft, inside me...
My mind leans against the dark sky
Trapped in a mire of reality, it
Starts walking on the orderly dots
Extracts just the deserving portions
Blotting away the grimy realities
The lies trip from my mouth...
‘Me’ mooch my identity
I lie for my own sake
A well-disguised mirage protects
 ‘An untold story’ of ME
on earth’s memory…
I smile…
How easily lies and deceits make a deal
And make me secured in this world
Unabated, I continue to survive all the
Autumns of ambiguities of life...

 Photo: Few there are to walk beside you
through the valley of tears and sorrow.
More the times, you walk alone,
than the times that they befriend.
Lonely is the journey there
and dark the jagged painful path.
Your tears they flow upon the stones
that rip away the bloodied flesh.
The light ahead, it slowly dims
as deeper down the path sojourns.
To hold a hand along the way
Might keep the feet upright that stumble.
Alone you see this path that ends;
Beyond the valley, a light, it glows
With angel guiding as you walk;
Last mile of life not walked alone
